The Sam Washington Foundation was founded in Detriot, Michigan by Sam Washington, Jr in 2015. Sam Washignton, Jr is the eldest son of the late Samuel Washington, Sr the former Executive Director of the Saint.
Sam wanted to continue in his father’s footsteps creating a safe haven for youth. The Sam Washington Foundation is a multi-faceted non-profit serving the community one family and child at a time. We offer life skill coaching for young athletes, tutoring, and college prep just to name a few. Our legacy continues to echo “ Legends are Made, not Born.”
